To set the Access Point Name (APN) and turn on data settings, follow these steps:
APN Configuration
Apple iOS
Go to the Home screen. Choose Settings.
Choose Cellular / Mobile Data.
If Cellular / Mobile Data is turned off, turn on Cellular Data / Mobile Data. If Cellular Data / Mobile Data is turned on, go to the next step.
Choose Cellular / Mobile Data Options.
Choose Cellular / Mobile Data Network. If Cellular Data Network is not available, manual configuration is not possible. In this case, connect the device to the computer and use iTunes to install the ‘Carrier Settings’.
Edit the details for CELLULAR / MOBILE DATA as follows:
Under APN, enter APN Address
Username: do not enter anything.
Password: do not enter anything.
Under APN, enter APN Address
Username: do not enter anything.
Password: do not enter anything.
Choose the arrow symbol in the upper left corner.
Return to the Home screen.
To turn off the iPhone, press and hold the power button on the side of the iPhone.
Drag the on/off symbol to the right.
The iPhone has been turned off.
To turn on the iPhone, press and hold the power button on the side of the iPhone.
If this screen appears, press the home key. If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.
If this screen appears, choose Unlock. If this screen does not appear, skip the next steps.
Enter the PIN code.
Choose OK.
The iPhone has now been configured for use of mobile internet.
